Alcumus is specifically designed to provide high-performing students with a challenging curriculum appropriate to their abilities." What I really like about this site is that you can ask for hints or ask for the answer to a math problem. If you ask for the answer, you get a detailed answer that will show you how to solve the problem. You need to create an account to use this website. Talk to me about doing that.This is an excellent free resource!

Level: All Grab some Origami paper (from the top right green drawer in my room) and get folding! I have a lot of Origami books in my room too.

Level: Middle School This British site has really thoughtful weekly math problems. Students could start with stage 2 problems, and then try the more challenging stage 3 problems.
Khan Academy
Level: All "With a library of over 2,600 videos covering everything from arithmetic to physics, finance, and history and 207 practice exercises, they are on a mission to help you learn what you want, when you want, at your own pace." This site is great! You can create an account and it will keep track of your progress - for free!!

If you are involved in math counts, you would probably enjoy this. You should look at last year's test to get an idea of the challenge level.

Level: Middle School This site has challenging, fast paced math games. You need a login id from me to play. You can find student id's and passwords in the math playground in my classroom.
ALEKS Math
Level: K-12 Online math course for the serious student who wants to move ahead in math. You can access ALEKS online anywhere there is Internet access. When you get started it will give you a pre-test so that it teaches you what you need to learn. A subscription to ALEKS for an individual student is:$19.95 per month. I have heard very good things about ALEKS but I have not used it.
